What do we do when God Disciplines us?



In the article of Day 5:

we discussed the main points why God disciplines us:

it is because He wants us to:



"OBEY"

become "STRONGER"

"KNOW"

Now how do we react or what do we do when God disciplines us ?

first let's go back in Exodus to the first 3 chapters of Deuteronomy it shows how the Israelites were stubborn, weak for they were easily discouraged and easily tempted, and they often question God. That's why they went under God's for 40 years !

That's a long time ! But it's because they do not learn.

Now when we are undergoing God's discipline we should thank Him (I'll explain it to you in a short while)

Now how do we react ?

First is we should OBEY Him.

Ahh obedience... it is one of the first and most important step, yet the hardest, but if we do this first step by God's grace, becoming stronger and knowing God will follow naturally !

(stay walking with me for tomorrow I will give the first article talking about the rewards we can get through obeying and loving God !)

Now after obeying Him, we will definitely become STRONGER ! Not just strong in the physical aspect but spiritual as well ! After under going God's discipline, if we obey we will surely be stronger when we face temptations and trials !

to Know that God is the Real and the Only Living God !

Sometimes when we undergo trials we immediately question God just like the Israelites, we sometimes question:

Is He the true God?

Does He love me?

Does He even care?

We need to understand that God disciplines us because He loves and care for us ! Be careful because if you feel that God isn't disciplining you anymore but something still feels wrong.

It just simply means that He has let you live your life because you don't want to listen to Him! But be careful of the big time CONSEQUENCES. 


Challenge:


When we undergo God's discipline we should obey so that we will become stronger and that we will know that He is the Real and the Only Living God!

It is never to late to change !
