Now let's discuss the three main parts of this verse:

Loving God with all our heart all our soul with all our strength.


with all our "HEART"

What does it mean by loving God with all our heart?

The Lord should be our number 1 desire ! For me when it says all our heart, the first thing that enters my mind is our desires in life.

Loving God with all our heart simply means: replacing the desires of our heart with the desire of learning, loving, obeying, and serving God and that He should be our ultimate and only desire.

with all our "SOUL or MIND"

What does it mean by loving God with all our soul or mind?

Our thoughts should be always pleasing to Him.

For me when it says all our soul or mind, it is the bridge between the heart and the strength, it is the decision and will to do what your heart says.

Loving God with all our soul or mind simply means: No matter what I will always choose to love the Lord.

with all our "STRENGTH"


What does it mean by loving God with all our strength?

For me when it says with all our strength, we do everything we can to show our heart's desires. It is the doing part.

Loving God with all our strength simply means: Obeying God.

It may be hard at first but remember nothing is impossible with God. This should be our daily habit.

 Love God 
with all our HEART 
with all our SOUL 
with all our STRENGTH
